Nearly a week ago, America simultaneously impressed themselves and the rest of world by electing to the office of the President, a candidate so far removed from the current leadership that people across the globe took to the streets in celebration. Never in my time have I witnessed such a momentous occasion.

In mostly unrelated news, for probably as long as Barack Obama has wanted to be President, I’ve wanted to start this blog. Now that he’s accomplished his goal, it’s time for me to do the same.
